PRESSURE
WASHING IN
CANBERRA.
Driveways, paths, concrete, decking, and external walls. Properly cleaned, fixed price, no quick rinse. Across Canberra and Queanbeyan.
Canberra's climate is hard on outdoor surfaces. Cold damp winters bring algae and black mould onto shaded concrete. Pollen and bark litter sit on driveways through spring. Patios and decks pick up grime year-round. Our team handles pressure washing for homes across Canberra and Queanbeyan, working through the build-up properly rather than blasting water around for ten minutes and calling it done.
Whether it is a driveway that has not been touched in five years, a deck before summer, or a patio that needs a clean before a sale or rental inspection, the results are visible the moment we finish.
What our pressure washing service covers
A pressure washing job with our team is methodical. We work surface by surface, adjust pressure to suit the material, and clear away the residue when we are done. Here is what a standard job includes.
- Pre-rinse and assessment of the surface so we know what we are dealing with
- Pressure washing with equipment matched to the material, concrete, pavers, timber decking, render, or brick
- Treatment of stubborn algae, moss, and black mould patches on shaded sections
- Edge work along walls, garden beds, and door thresholds so the result is clean to the line
- Tidy-up afterwards, including hosing residue off lawn edges where reasonable
We work through the job at the pace it actually needs. A driveway with five years of build-up takes longer than one that gets cleaned every spring. We will tell you that upfront and quote accordingly.
Surfaces we clean, and what we leave alone
Pressure washing sounds simple, but a heavy-handed job can do real damage. Soft timber gets shredded. Old mortar gets blown out of brick walls. Aggregate concrete loses its top layer. We will not put a 3000 psi wand on a surface that cannot take it, even if the customer asks.
What we clean on a typical job:
- Concrete driveways, paths, and aprons
- Pavers and brick paving
- Timber and composite decking, at appropriate pressure
- Patios and pool surrounds
- Rendered and brick external walls at ground level
- Garden walls, retaining walls, and outdoor stairs
- Carport floors and shed slabs
What we don't handle:
- Roof tile or roof sheet cleaning
- Solar panel cleaning
- Second-storey external walls or windows
- Soft washing of render with chemical systems
- Pressure cleaning of cars, boats, or machinery
- Surfaces with active structural damage or loose mortar
If your job sits outside what we do, we will say so when you call. For roof cleaning or chemical soft-washing of two-storey render, a specialist with the right setup is the right choice.
The right time to pressure wash in Canberra
Canberra runs a cold, damp winter and a warm dry summer, and that pattern decides when outdoor surfaces look their worst. Most homeowners book pressure washing in one of three windows.
Spring is the biggest. After winter, south-facing concrete and shaded patios show clear black and green discolouration from algae and mould. A pressure wash in September or October resets the surface for the warm months and removes the slip risk on paths and steps.
Pre-summer is the other natural window. Decks, alfresco areas, and pool surrounds get used heavily from November onwards. Getting them cleaned in late spring means they are ready for entertaining season without the grime that builds up over winter.
Pre-inspection cleans run all year. Selling a house, ending a tenancy, or preparing for a property manager walk-through, a clean driveway and patio shift the whole impression of the property. We get called regularly for this exact reason, and the turnaround is usually quick.
What pressure washing costs in Canberra
Our quote is fixed before we start. We will ask a few questions, square metres, surface type, last time it was cleaned, any specific stains, and give you a clear price. You will not be quoted one figure and invoiced another at the end of the day.
If you want a real number, send us a photo or two with your address and we will come back with a price. No obligation, no pressure to book.
Fixed price. Quoted before we start. What you are quoted is what you pay.
One visit, multiple jobs done
Most homeowners who book a pressure wash have other jobs sitting on the list. While we are on-site with the gear out, we can also clear the gutters, sort a sticking door, repair a fence panel, repaint a section of fascia, or work through whatever else needs doing. One visit, one invoice, the property in better shape across the board.
This matters even more for landlords and property managers. Pre-tenancy turnarounds usually need three or four small jobs done at once. Booking each one separately wastes time and money. Tell us the full list when you call and we will price the whole visit together.
